MUMBAIRiding on the demand for electric vehicles (EVs) since the outbreak of the West Asia conflict, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) on Tuesday launched the all-new Sierra.ev at price starting ₹18.79 lakh (ex showroom). The top most model is priced at ₹24.79 lakh. Deliveries will start from July 2026.The launch of the Sierra.ev comes at a moment when electric mobility decisively is moving into the mainstream. Strong customer confidence, improving total cost of ownership, the rapid scale-up of charging infrastructure, and a maturing ecosystem are driving a structural shift in adoption with EVs transitioning from early adopters to a compelling, everyday mobility choice, said Shailesh Chandra, MD & CEO, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd..Stating that the bookings for the EVs has gone up 3 times over the past months he said “The Sierra has always stood for more than just mobility.
