Lily Allen knows that her touring show isn’t your typical concert, but the star doesn’t want people feeling “ripped off” by it, either.
The British singer-songwriter addressed a person on X who’d attended one of her recent shows at the O2 Arena in London and posted about feeling like Allen’s performance had come up short. “No support act,” the critical concertgoer had written in a bulleted list of observations. “Arrived on stage at 9:10pm. All wrapped up by 10pm. Not one word to the audience. £86 to sit in the gods.”
