Arivu Chamoogam, a progressive group from Tamil Nadu dealing with issues of social justice, will be organising Sangeetha Perumkanavu, a tribute event to musician Ilaiyaraaja to celebrate the landmark of 50 years as a music composer. The event to be organised at the Press Club Hall here on July 4 at 4 p.m. will have talks, performances by musicians and collective listening of First movement of valiant, a western classical symphony composed by Ilaiyaraaja earlier this year.
