TACLOBAN CITY — The Police Regional Office(PRO-8) in Eastern Visayas on Tuesday, June 30, confirmed that the two men earlier reported missing in Mayorga, Leyte were positively identified as former Abuyog, Leyte Vice Mayor James Bohol and his son, Carlo James “Jimbo” Bohol, whose bodies were recovered in a ravine in Silago, Southern Leyte.
The confirmation came after the Regional Forensic Unit-8 (RFU-8) completed the necessary forensic and medico-legal examinations, ending days of uncertainty over the fate of the father and son, who were reportedly abducted by unidentified armed men in Mayorga on Saturday, June 27.
