NEW YORK: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition participated in the Fourth UN High-Level Conference on Counter-Terrorism at the world body’s headquarters in New York.

The coalition’s participation, led by its secretary-general, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, reflects its ongoing role in strengthening international cooperation and unifying efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in all their forms.

It also strengthens strategic partnerships with international organizations and member states, helping develop effective policies and practices to address terrorist threats and enhance regional and international security and stability.

The conference, on June 29 and 30, explored ways to strengthen international cooperation and emphasized the need for a comprehensive multilateral approach to counterterrorism.

It also highlighted the roles of governments, international organizations, civil society, and the private sector in addressing growing security challenges.
