Fars News Agency reported on Monday, June 29, that Rear Admiral Second Class Mohammad Akbarzadeh, the Political Deputy of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, was killed following a vehicle rollover on one of the highways in Kerman Province.
According to the report, the traffic accident occurred a few hours earlier, and police and emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. He was transferred to a medical facility but passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
Fars noted that an investigation into the cause and details of the accident had been launched by relevant officials and authorities.
