The center combines training, hands-on practice and technology applications to help bridge the gap between academic education and the practical needs of manufacturers as Industry 4.0 adoption accelerates.

The facility was established through a strategic partnership between industrial automation company Kuka Vietnam and SHTP Training, focusing on robotics, automation, digital transformation and Industry 4.0 technologies. The collaboration includes curriculum development, practical training, workshops and technology demonstration programs for students, engineers and industry professionals.

SHTP Training, which operates under the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Management Board, specializes in developing skilled talent in automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, semiconductor technology and digital transformation. Through its academia-industry-technology partnership model, the center connects education with industry to prepare a workforce for evolving manufacturing needs.

The facility features an integrated automation system covering a range of industrial applications, including SCARA and six-axis industrial robots, collaborative robots, autonomous forklifts and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
