PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – Authorities intercepted suspected smuggled cigarettes in this city and Pitogo, Zamboanga del Sur, with a combined value of at least P105 million.
Lt. Col. Lee Eric Humpa, Pagadian City police chief, said operatives discovered the contraband, which was transported via four motorized pump boats, at the shoreline of Barangay White Beach here on Monday morning,
The joint police and military operating team confiscated 611 master cases with an estimated value of P96,433,347.92 and one unit Canter truck container van, he said.
