Students of Classes 1 to 8 in Noida and Greater Noida will attend school for reduced hours after the Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration revised school timings due to persistent heat conditions. The new schedule came into effect on June 29, 2026, and will remain in force until further orders. The District Basic Education Officer (BSA) of Gautam Buddh Nagar has directed all schools in the district to operate from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM to protect students from exposure to high daytime temperatures. The order applies to government, government-aided, recognised, CBSE, ICSE, Madrasa and all other board-affiliated schools. New school timings in Noida and Greater Noida Under the revised arrangement, schools catering to students from Classes 1 to 8 must conduct classes only during morning hours. Educational institutions have been instructed to strictly comply with the directive and continue following the revised schedule until fresh instructions are issued by the district administration.
