LG has announced the “StanbyME 2 Max,” a new 32-inch touchscreen display on wheels designed to let you bring media, phone mirroring, and more essentially anywhere.
The “StanbyME 2 Max” is, at its core, essentially a gigantic tablet. It has a 32-inch touchscreen with a 4K 60Hz panel and LG’s webOS running the show. It’s powered by LG’s A8 processor and packs apps and free channels, as well as some specialized features specific to this form factor such as a new app launcher that you won’t find on LG’s webOS-based TVs. You can mirror content from a mobile device or use the built-in apps.
It’s all powered by a built-in battery that can run for up to 4.5 hours and is charged over USB-C. The entire display can also be detached from the base, which itself has a flexible stand. There’s a kickstand on the back of the display, as well as a remote that can be stored with magnets.
LG hits the highlights, explaining:
Detach, move and watch your way with a portable screen offering up to 4.5 hours³ of battery and simple USB-C connection
