Estrogen therapy for menopausal hair loss lacks sufficient scientific support

Topical estrogen and systemic menopausal hormone therapy did not improve hair growth for women going through menopause, according to a systematic review published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Of the 13 studies reviewed, researchers did not find a reproducible benefit from estrogen therapy for menopausal hair loss and concluded that other hair loss interventions are more
