The latest Padel4Good tournament, in partnership with Racket + Ball Club, delivered another memorable day of competition, community impact, and growing participation in one of South Africa’s fastest-rising sports this past weekend in Cape Town.
Hosted at the popular Racket + Ball Club venue on Bree Street, the men's tournament (2.5–5 rating) attracted players from across the city for a day of high-level action, with Damian Gomes and Shaylin Foflonker ultimately claiming top honours after an impressive run through the competition.
Wade Young and Ziyaad Begg finished as runners-up after producing several standout performances throughout the day.
While the tournament winners deservedly walked away as champions, one of the biggest talking points from the event was the participation of 12-year-old Owen Duncan, who became the youngest player ever to compete in a Padel4Good tournament since the brand's inception in 2023.
