Popular Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi, has stirred controversy after attributing the recurring flooding in Lagos to what he described as the “dirtiness” of Nigerians.
In a video shared on his Instagram story on Monday, the actor, known for his roles in several hit movies, vented his frustration over the recent heavy rains that have left many parts of Lagos State submerged.
“Let us call a spade a spade, We are a dirty people. Nigerians are dirty people and that’s why there is flood everywhere,” Remi stated in the clip.
He narrated how the flooding has escalated beyond previous limits, noting that it was no longer confined to the Island alone.
