The Ogun State Government has dismissed as false claims that members of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s cabinet prostrate before him whenever he is displeased with them.
The government described the allegation, published by an online platfrom as “a complete fabrication” aimed at ridiculing the governor and creating unnecessary tension in the state.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, the government said no commissioner or member of the State Executive Council had ever been required to prostrate before Abiodun.
It also dismissed as “ridiculous” the claim that the Deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, prostrates before the governor.
