Russian forces shelled a rescue unit in the city of Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region overnight.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service office in the Donetsk region announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
According to the statement, the enemy attacked the city with four guided aerial bombs, with the strikes hitting the area adjacent to a fire and rescue unit.
The explosion caused significant damage to the fire station, including the roof, façade, windows, doors, structural elements, and entrance gates, as well as two emergency response vehicles.
"Despite daily danger and enemy strikes, rescuers in the Donetsk region continue to carry out their duties and save civilians," the agency said.
