Max, who battled leukaemia, died on June 19, just weeks before his 16th birthday on July 2.
Barbara-Marié Immelman is best known for her roles in Konings, 7de Laan, Sleep Skemer and Die Byl.
In March, she shared a message to mothers struggling with children suffering from cancer.
