Two months after getting fired by Chelsea, Liam Rosenior appears to have found his next landing spot. The English coach is in talks with Paris FC about becoming the club’s new head coach on a two-year deal, a move that would mark a sharp pivot from the Premier League spotlight to a quieter but no less ambitious project in French football.
Paris FC, the lesser-known of the two professional football clubs in the French capital, recently earned promotion to Ligue 1. The club is now looking for the right manager to solidify its place in the top flight, and Rosenior has emerged as a leading candidate.
From Stamford Bridge to the city of light
Rosenior’s path to Paris runs through a rather turbulent exit from Chelsea. He was dismissed on April 22, 2026, after the Blues suffered five consecutive Premier League losses.
Before Chelsea, Rosenior managed Strasbourg, giving him direct experience in French football.
