The post-Prime Day price bump on the AirPods Pro 3 turns out to be a small one indeed. Apple’s flagship wireless earbuds are still in the sub-$200 category at Amazon, with a $199 price that’s $50 off their regular retail rate. It’s a modest hike from the Prime Day $179 deal, and it’s still an outstanding deal when you consider the specs and features.
The active noise cancellation of the AirPods Pro 3 removes up to 2x more unwanted noise compared to Pro 2. The Pro 2 are certainly no slouch in the ANC department, but the huge bump reflects a new acoustic architecture that Apple redesigned from the driver array outward for this latest model. The redesign also created what Apple describes as transformed bass response – the Pro 3 adds physical low-end performance rather than relying entirely on EQ tuning.

Now With Health Tracking
The most notable new hardware addition with the AirPods Pro 3 is built-in heart rate sensing. The Pro 3 can track heart rate and calories burned across up to 50 workout types, and paired with an iPhone they integrate with the Move ring, step count, and Apple’s Workout Buddy feature powered by Apple Intelligence. That’s Apple’s answer to the competitors offering fitness earbuds at similar price points, and it gives iPhone users a meaningful health metric without adding a separate wearable to the equation.
