Noise cancellation runs through redesigned foam-infused ear tips paired with ultra-low-noise microphones and the H2 chip, which together deliver up to 2x the cancellation of the Pro 2 and 4x the cancellation of the original AirPods Pro. Five ear tip sizes including a new XXS option ship in the box for finding the right fit on smaller ears that earlier AirPods didn’t accommodate well.
Live Translation handles real-time multilingual conversations through Apple Intelligence. Hold a conversation with someone speaking a different language and the AirPods translate their speech into your ear in real time while showing live transcription on the iPhone for the other person. English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish are supported at launch, with Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese arriving later. The feature requires an Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhone.
