Dickson said his approach to politics was centred on issues, principles and values rather than personal attacks on political opponents.
The National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Dickson, has said the party is open to forming a coalition with other opposition political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections, although any such arrangement must ultimately serve the interests of the NDC and its candidates.
Dickson made the remarks on Sunday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics programme.
The NDC leader described his party as the country’s “leading opposition party” despite being only five months old, saying its rapid growth had demonstrated Nigerians’ appetite for an alternative political platform.
“We are the leading opposition party now, even though we are just five months,” he said.
