Classes at the Batangas City Integrated High School will resume on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, after the campus was declared safe following an alleged shooting threat.

MANILA, Philippines — Classes at Batangas City Integrated High School (BCIHS) will resume on Tuesday, June 30, after school administrators and local authorities declared the campus safe following an assessment prompted by an alleged shooting threat that forced the suspension of classes a day earlier.

In an official statement released Monday, the BCIHS administration said it had undertaken the necessary safety and security protocols in coordination with the Batangas City local government and concerned authorities to protect students, teaching and non-teaching personnel, parents, and other stakeholders.

The school said that after “a thorough assessment and the implementation of appropriate precautionary measures,” both the administration and the local government unit (LGU) assured the public that the campus is safe.
