Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles headed to Abu Dhabi earlier this month to meet with United Arab Emirates leaders and apparently do his bit in opening the Strait of Hormuz. His accommodation and ground transport were provided by the UK government. But there was an interesting room upgrade that came courtesy of the hotel itself.All this was duly disclosed recently.
