Three persons were found dead on the tracks after being hit by trains in three different places in and around the city on Saturday night. The Government Railway police said a person in his late thirties was killed after being hit by an electric train between Guindy and St. Thomas Mount railway station. His body was found near the railway track. The Mambalam Railway Police sent the body to Rajiv Gandhi government hospital and are investigating.In another incident, the Tambaram Railway Police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man whose body was found on the railway track bound towards Tambaram near Chromepet railway station. He was hit by an electric train. Meanwhile, the Tiruvallur railway police found a man, aged around 40, killed near the platform meant for mail and express trains of Tiruvallur railway station.
