A chef has shared a simple roasted salmon recipe that takes just 25 minutes to make15:03, 28 Jun 2026Salmon is a firm favourite for a speedy, nutritious evening meal, particularly throughout the summer months. However, it can occasionally disappoint in flavour if it hasn't been properly seasoned.‌Thankfully, a chef from Delish has revealed their straightforward summer salmon recipe, which is both delicious and fiery with one brilliant addition: harissa paste. According to the Mediterranean Dish, harissa paste is a North African red chilli paste crafted from a handful of basic ingredients, including chillies, garlic, olive oil, citrus, and spices, and carries a subtly sweet, smoky, tangy, and spicy flavour.‌You can pick up harissa paste in most supermarkets, such as Tesco and Sainsbury's, for under £2.‌The chef at Delish said: "I fell in love with harissa roasted salmon when developing my recipe for everything bagel crusted salmon, and this version is even simpler, coming together in a single skillet in the oven with only five minutes of prep."To make this low-lift, 25-minute dinner main, salmon fillets are dusted with cumin and paprika, rubbed with spicy harissa paste, and roasted alongside cherry tomatoes, shallots, and garlic, then topped with fresh dill and creamy feta."‌Harissa roasted salmon recipeFour skinless salmon fillets1/2 a teaspoon of ground cumin1/2 a teaspoon of sweet paprikaTwo 1/4 teaspoons of kosher saltOne tablespoon of harissa pasteOne shallotThree garlic clovesEight ounces of cherry tomatoesThree tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oilTwo tablespoons of crumbled feta or goat cheeseOne tablespoon of chopped fresh dillMethodTo start, position an oven rack in the centre of the oven and place a large stainless steel or cast-iron skillet on top of it.
