Siyal Goya, the 20-year-old key accused in the murder of 25-year-old Ketan Agarwal, was taken to the site of the incident — Lohagad Fort — on Sunday for the reconstruction of the crime scene, a police official said.Police brought accused Siya Goyal for crime scene recreation (Screenshot of ANI video)According to police, the exercise is aimed at recreating the exact sequence of events of the June 18 incident, when Agarwal was allegedly pushed to his death from the fort by Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary.Speaking to news agency ANI, Pune Rural Police SP Sandeep Singh Gill said, "The accused have been taken to Lohagad Fort, specifically to the spot where the incident occurred, to recreate the scene. The entire sequence of events is being reconstructed: the route taken, where the accused positioned themselves, the specific actions they performed, and how the incident unfolded. The accused have provided details regarding this."DSP Gajanan Tompe said that a dummy of the same weight as Ketan was brought to the crime scene for the recreation.After the scene recreation, DSP Gajanan Tompe told ANI, “This morning, we brought Siya Goyal to the location, and the scene was reconstructed based on her account of the events. We created a dummy of the same weight of the victim, Ketan for scene reconstruction.”Siya has allegedly told police that she did not want to marry Agarwal and therefore conspired with Chaudhary to kill him, believing that calling off the wedding would bring disrepute to her family.Investigators are probing several aspects of the case, including the planning of the alleged crime, the movements of the accused before and after the incident, their digital footprint, and the motive behind the murder, a senior police official said.Police seize Chetan's two-wheelerMeanwhile, the Lonavala Rural Police have seized the two-wheeler belonging to accused Chetan Chaudhary as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of 26-year-old businessman Ketan Agarwal at Lohagad Fort.According to police, the two-wheeler was allegedly used by Chaudhary to travel from Pune to Lohagad Fort on the day of the incident. Investigators have also recovered the hoodie and headphones he was allegedly wearing at the time.Police said the seized two-wheeler, along with the clothing recovered from the accused, has been sent for forensic examination as part of the investigation.Ketan had died after allegedly being pushed from Lohagad Fort on June 18. Police suspect his fiancee, Siya, conspired with ‘lover’ Chetan to kill him. Both were arrested on June 23 and remain in police custody as the investigation continues.
