Türkiye is once again ready to provide a venue for negotiation between Ukrainian and Russian delegations in an effort to revive the diplomatic process aimed at ending the war.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the statement during a joint press conference with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand in Ottawa, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We want the Russia-Ukraine war to end as soon as possible through dialogue and on the basis of international law. At this stage, we see that the diplomatic process has reached a standstill, hostilities have intensified, and both sides are focused on achieving military gains," Fidan said.
The Turkish Foreign Minister stressed that the diplomatic process must be revitalized as quickly as possible.
"In this context, I would like to reiterate to the international community, just as we have already conveyed to the parties, that we are once again ready to bring the Russian and Ukrainian delegations together at the negotiating table in our country," he said.
