Turkey remains ready to support diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, including hosting future rounds of negotiations between the two sides.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the statement on X following a two-day visit to Russia.

"As Türkiye, we hope that the war between Russia and Ukraine will be resolved at the diplomatic table. In this context, we once again recorded our readiness to provide all kinds of support, including hosting subsequent negotiations," Fidan wrote.

According to the minister, the Turkish delegation held a series of meetings in Moscow and Kazan with senior Russian officials. These included Russian President Vladimir Putin, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, presidential aide Igor Levitin, Russia's chief negotiator on Ukraine Vladimir Medinsky, Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin, and GRU chief Igor Kostyukov.
