Bhanvi Agarwal and Kunal Seth from Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru, emerged winners and clinched the KIMS PG Medi Quiz-2026 Trophy on Saturday.The event witnessed a close finish as the winners faced stiff competition from their fellow college team comprising Abhishekh Bhat and Sai Krishna, who finished second. Third place was secured by the Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences team comprising Raghavendra and Vinayak.A total of 31 teams of postgraduate students from medical colleges in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts participated in the fifth edition of KIMS PG Mediquiz-2026, organised by the Department of General Medicine, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), exclusively for postgraduate students of general medicine. Head of the Department of General Medicine Devadas Rai conducted the quiz.Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony, KIMS Dean Shahanavaz Manipady said participating in academic competitions periodically enhances the knowledge and skills of participants.
