The Sussexes will soon be making an awaited visited to the UK with their two young children with Harry reportedly set to take his kids on a visit to his mother's grave for the first time12:19, 27 Jun 2026Prince Harry will reportedly take his son and daughter Archie and Lilibet to visit Diana's grave during their first visit to the UK.‌Harry and Meghan Markle are believed to be heading to the UK soon, marking their first joint visit to the prince's home country in four years. The couple are expected to arrive in Britain with their two young kids in July, to attend an event marking the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games being held in Birmingham.‌While in the UK, it has been reported Harry will take Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to Althorp House in an emotional visit to see his late mother's grave, days after what would have been Diana's 65th birthday.‌Diana was buried on an island at her ancestral estate of Althorp House, in West Northamptonshire, which is off limits to the public. Harry was just 12 years old when his mother, aged 36, died after a horror crash in Paris, in 1997.The prince has visited his mother's grave several times since her death and he took Meghan to the site back in 2022. The two young children are yet to see their grandmother's grave but reportedly will during this trip, according to The Sun.‌The couple will be travelling to Birmingham and London for the Invictus events between July 6 and 10, and the Althorp Estate is closed to visitors on July 10 and 11, according to the estate's website. The late Princess of Wales' birthday is on July 1, which would be a significant visit for Harry and his children around a week after the special date.‌Althorp is owned by Diana's brother Charles Spencer, the 9th Earl Spencer, and the prince stayed at the estate during a visit to the UK, most recently in 2024 when he returned for the funeral of Lord Robert Fellowes. Harry also wrote about taking his wife Meghan to visit Diana's grave back in 2022, 25 years after her death, in his autobiography Spare.He wrote: "No visit to this place was ever easy, but this one . . . 25th anniversary and Meg's first time. It is understood that due to security reasons, Harry has accepted the offer to stay in Buckingham Palace, the Mirror previously reported.It was claimed that Harry, his wife and kids, will meet King Charles during their stay. A royal source said: "Any meeting between Harry and Meghan and the King would represent a huge thawing of relations. Despite everything that has occurred in recent years, the King loves his son and daughter-in-law dearly and would relish the chance to see his grandchildren."
