A source familiar with the incident told SaharaReporters on Friday that the victims were attacked near Ahimeni in the Okodu area while travelling back from the peace meeting.
The Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Benue State, Alhaji Ardo Risku, was reportedly killed alongside his son, Ibrahim, by suspected gunmen while returning home after attending a peace meeting in Otukpo, Benue State.
A source familiar with the incident told SaharaReporters on Friday that the victims were attacked near Ahimeni in the Okodu area while travelling back from the peace meeting.
According to the source, Alhaji Risku and his son died during the attack.
