Katie Price's ex partner, Dane Bowers, has revealed his thoughts on his former girlfriend's new marriage - and explained why he reached out to her19:56, 26 Jun 2026Katie Price's ex Dane Bowers has given a blunt take on the former glamour model's current husband. Katie and Dane dated over two decades ago and the mum-of-five has previously described him as the love of her life.‌While their two-year relationship between 1998 and 2000 never lasted, Katie will be hoping her fourth marriage will have a happier ended. But singer Dane doesn't seem to be holding out too much hope.‌The former Another Level singer reached out to his ex after news of her whirlwind marriage in January was made public. The star, who lives in Dubai, called the whole situation like a "bloody soap opera".‌And he admitted he only reached out because his girlfriend Nicole was keen for the gossip. Dane told The Sun: "I think I messaged her ‘please tell me you’re on a wind up with this Lee nonsense?’ and that was it really."He went on: "She wrote back something about how he met me before because I DJ’d for him, which is b*****ks as well. I think he’s got some issues. I was intrigued to see if it was a bloody wind up or not but she didn’t really say.”‌Dane is set to feature on Katie's new four-part Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide. The series will look at Katie's past, and while the singer says he hasn't seen the final edit, he took part to try to take back some of the narrative that had been plaguing their failed relationship.He explained how he was asked to talk about his former relationship, saying: "I’m in a really good relationship now, Nicole is really understanding and is like, ‘look, everyone’s got a past. Absolutely, why not talk about it?’"And he said he felt it was an easier way to clear the air and any misconceptions that surround their time together. He admitted he thinks the documentary will be an "interesting watch".‌Speaking at the launch, Katie said: "Dane Bowers! I used to adore his songs. Why am I grinning? He was the love of my life. Did you tell him that? Why did he muck it up? He’ll probably point the finger at me.”She also recalled the first time they met, saying they "just locked eyes" at a film premiere and that even though he "might have been the chubby one", she started talking to him and couldn't stop thinking "I fancy you".Another of Katie's ex flings will also appear in the Sky documentary. Gareth Gates opened up in front of the camera about losing his virginity aged 17 to the star. And Katie admitted she was shocked to discover the former Pop Idol star was involved in the production.‌The pair had a fling in 2002 while Katie was pregnant with Harvey. At the official launch of the series, Katie told the crowd: "Imagine meeting someone 25 years ago and then they sort of ghost you."You don’t know why and then you go forward 25 years and then you get the answers."She went on: "Because he had thought I’d done something which I didn’t do and now, he finds out, it really wasn’t me.
