The United States has restored full sanctions on Russian oil giants Rosneft and Lukoil after several postponements, as the latest sanctions waiver expired on June 16.

This was reported to Ukrinform by Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the Ukrainian Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy.

“US sanctions against Rosneft and Lukoil, imposed in October, have once again fully come into force after several temporary postponements. The latest waiver expired on June 16 and was not extended,” he said.
