Estonia has called on European allies to show greater “strategic patience” and intensify pressure on Russia, which is currently facing Ukrainian long-range strikes.

This was stated in an interview with Bloomberg by Estonia’s Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, according to Ukrinform.

Tsahkna said Estonia cannot predict when the war would end, but given the scale of Russian military losses, a critical point “is coming closer.”

“This is the time to have this strategic patience, put more pressure on Russia to be ready for any kind of reactions from Russia. It can be the starting point for the end of the war,” Tsahkna said on the sidelines of a conference in Gdańsk, Poland.

The Estonian Foreign Minister sees more unity in Europe than he had expected, even as Russia is attempting to sow division and diminish Europe’s role at the table as a mediator, instead of Ukraine’s ally.
