MOSCOW, June 26. /TASS/. Gazprom may increase its EBITDA by 6-7% in 2026, Deputy Chairman of the holding Famil Sadygov said.
"In 2025, Gazprom Group’s EBITDA stood at 2.9 trillion rubles. For 2026, we forecast a 6-7% increase in this figure driven by growth of the domestic gas market, rising gas supplies to China, current global market pricing trends, and Gazprom management’s cost control traditional for us," he said at the company’s annual shareholders meeting.
In particular, Gazprom may increase gas supplies to the Russian market by 2-4% in 2026 and expects continued growth in supplies to China. Rising oil and gas prices driven by the Middle East conflict are expected to have a positive impact on the holding’s revenues. "I must also highlight the impact of events in the Middle East on our revenue. Hydrocarbon prices have risen significantly since this spring. The price of gas at the TTF hub has increased by 60%, while the price of Brent crude has risen by more than 73%. These factors will, of course, have a positive effect on the revenues of both the gas and oil segments of Gazprom Group," Sadygov said.
Gazprom has been pursuing a policy of strict cost control for some time now, he added. "I believe this will also make a significant contribution to increasing Gazprom Group’s net profit," the official noted.
