German foreign minister to meet US counterpart in Washington, spokesperson says
BERLIN: German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is set to meet his US counterpart, Marco Rubio, in Washington on Monday. “The foreign ministers will discuss the situation in the Middle East,” said a foreigm ministry spokesperson in Berlin. The talks will also focus on continued support for Ukraine and preparations for the NATO summit in Ankara. Wadephul will then travel on to Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil.
