The military wing of the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) reported that in the early hours of Thursday, June 25, the heights of Shivi village near the town of Baneh were targeted three times by drone strikes launched by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces.

According to a statement released by the Free Life Party, the attacks caused severe damage to the orchards and agricultural fields of local villagers in the area.

Previously, on June 11, reports were published detailing IRGC artillery shelling against positions held by the forces of the Kurdish opposition party in Marivan.

Media outlets affiliated with the IRGC had previously reported the killing of Danial Nourian, a member of the Marivan Border Guard Regiment, during an armed clash with a militant group opposing the Islamic Republic.
