GEK Terna and Germany’s Rheinmetall have taken the next step in their collaboration, which began in the last quarter of 2025, with the conclusion of a long-term strategic binding agreement aimed at strengthening the Greek defense industry.

The partnership between the two groups will be based on GEK Terna’s experience in critical infrastructure, energy and complex industrial systems in Southeastern Europe, and on Rheinmetall’s international portfolio of ground systems and defense technologies.

The goal of the collaboration is to support the Greek armed forces with cutting-edge capabilities, based on new tactical ground systems.
