The Delhi government will spend ₹264 crore on renovating and upgrading infrastructure, including installing CCTV systems and developing sports facilities, at 75 CM SHRI Schools, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said on Thursday.The repair and development work was approved during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday. Sports facilities will be developed, rainwater harvesting systems repaired, and multipurpose halls renovated, read a statement. “The objective of the government is to develop government schools into modern educational campuses where students have access to a safe, inclusive, technology-enabled and high-quality learning environment,” Ms. Gupta said.
