Deep Fission Joins DOE Secretary Wright at Idaho National Laboratory Event to Celebrate Nuclear Innovation

Company’s participation follows Nasdaq listing and announcement of customer pipeline representing up to 18.5 GW of potential generation capacity

Deep Fission, Inc. (Nasdaq: FISN) (“Deep Fission” or the “Company”), an advanced nuclear energy company developing small modular pressurized water reactors installed one mile underground, will participate in the Golden Era of Nuclear Power event at Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Materials and Fuels Complex in Idaho Falls, Idaho on Thursday, June 25.

This event comes just ahead of the 250th anniversary of the United States, underscoring the country’s progress in the nuclear renaissance. Deep Fission was selected as one of 10 companies to participate in the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Reactor Pilot Program. Authorized under Executive Order 14301, the Reactor Pilot Program marks a historic shift in federal policy, enabling reactor testing and deployment on sites outside of national laboratories.

Deep Fission will be represented at the event by Liz Muller, Co-Founder and CEO, alongside members of the Deep Fission team. The event will bring together leaders across the nuclear energy ecosystem to highlight the next generation of nuclear technologies, and the role advanced reactors will play in meeting growing demand for reliable, around-the-clock energy.
