MLC for Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Local Authorities constituency Kishor Kumar Puttur inaugurated a cold storage facility developed by Gramjanya Farmers Producer Company Limited at its premises in Hindaru, Puttur, on Thursday.The first users of the cold storage facility, Radhakrishna of Abhigyan Foods and Ramkishore Manchi of Pingara Raitha Producer Company, were felicitated at the programme. On the occasion, Keshav Prasad Muliya, head of the Muliya Group of Companies, who had proposed the need for a cold storage facility for Puttur at a jackfruit mela and inspired the project, was also felicitated.
