TVTV NewsThis MorningBen Shephard was quick to congratulated his co-star live on air11:45, 25 Jun 2026Updated 11:46, 25 Jun 2026This Morning presenter Ben Shephard praised his co-star on a huge achievement.‌During Thursday's (June 25) edition of the hit ITV hit programme, Ben and co-host Cat Deeley made a return to our TV screens as they presented the day's top stories from the UK and Beyond.‌Not long into the show, the duo were joined by Nick Ferrari and Sonia Sodha as they took on the regular segment, reviewing and discussing the day's breaking news stories and newspaper headlines.‌After an ad break, addressing viewers watching at home, Ben started off by saying: Welcome back. Nick joins us today in the studio with Sonia to talk through more of today’s stories."Before they could get stuck into the segment, Ben: “But first congratulations and congratulations to Mr Ferrari.” Nick jumped in: “Thank you very much.”‌Ben continued: “Storming the TRIC Awards.” The TV presenter then joked: “You won sexiest male?” Everyone bursted out laughing as Nick replied: “I didn’t want to… No, You know you got that. Come on.”Ben said: “You celebrated with your team, as well.” Nick confirmed: “Absolutely. Absolutely brilliant. "Yes there were some of your This Morning friends there as well. It was a great day out and I’ve never won one, so now we can put that on.” Cat added: “Congratulations.”The Television and Radio Industries Club, better known as TRIC, hosted their annual star-studded awards ceremony to recognise the best in British TV and radio entertainment last night.‌This year marked the first year the awards included the category for best radio talk show and Nick managed to walk away with the top prize in that category.The awards show was presented by fellow Global presenter, Classic FM's Dan Walker. Following the big win, Nick took his Instagram and told fans: “Delighted to have won best Radio Talk Show @tricawardsuk presented to me by my good friend @janepmoore. Also caught up with my work wife @ashleylouisejames whilst raising much needed funds for @brightyoungdreams and @refugecharity.”‌The comment section was flooded with sweet messages from fans as one wrote: “Best by far! Congratulations Nick! Another commented: “Congratulations Nick! So deserved too .” A third said: “Absolutely fabulous! Delighted for you!”One wrote: “Well done and many congratulations Nick. I listen and enjoy your show every day.”Meanwhile another fan added: “Every time I return to the UK and I put the radio on, I listen to Nick Ferrari.
