Businessman and police informant, Tumelo Nku, has testified at the Madlanga Commission on Thursday.
Businessman Tumelo Nku has denied being a tenderpreneur and insisted he acted as a confidential source for the police, as evidence linked him to a drug-trafficking network involved in the 2021 Aeroton cocaine bust.
Testifying, under subpoena, at the Madlanga Commission on Thursday, Nku described himself as a business consultant whose clients include tenderpreneurs.
He also confirmed that he had provided information to senior police officials, including Lt-Gen. Sindile Mfazi and Gauteng traffic police Chief Inspector Samuel Mashaba.
The testimony comes as the commission examines competing claims about Nku's role in law enforcement circles and his alleged links to organised crime.
