AI code generation has scaled. Verification hasn’t — and that gap is becoming technical debt.

The application worked.

That was the dangerous part.

After 47 days, 1,384 commits, around 250 spec files in Obsidian, more than 470 test files, and an estimated 100M+ generated output tokens, I had a working system. The features existed. The tests ran. The pull requests were merged.

And I still wanted to throw the codebase away.
