Award-winning ITV show The Assembly is returning for a third series20:02, 24 Jun 2026An award-winning and critically acclaimed ITV programme hailed as 'best of 2026' is set to return for a third series.Following a star-studded run featuring the likes of Sir Stephen Fry, Sir Lenny Henry, Rylan and Nicola Sturgeon, The Assembly will be making a comeback with its unique interview format showcasing an exciting new line-up of brave celebrity guests.The ITV hit will see an extraordinary group of inquisitive interviewers who are autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled expertly question those in the hotseat, asking things viewers didn't even know they were curious about.Lauded as amongst The Guardian's "best TV shows of 2026", which called the show a "delightful gem" in its five-star review, the third series will consist of a 6 x 30 run, along with the return of additional montage episodes Unseen and More Unseen.Information about which six celebrities will be taking part is yet to be announced, reports the Express.The Assembly has been streamed 6.9 million times, and drawn over 10 million viewers across ITV channels and ITVX.
