More drivers were going over the posted speed limit in Toronto after the Doug Ford government mandated the removal of speed cameras, a city report has found.

Speeding across the city increased from two per cent of drivers going 11 km/h or above the speed limit to 8.1 per cent in the six months since the removal of speed cams on Nov. 15 of last year, according to the report, which is in front of city council this week.
