IN THE vibrant tapestry of South Africa’s spiritual landscape, Swami Abhedananda, the spiritual head of Chinmaya Mission South Africa (CMSA), stands as a luminary whose two-decade-long journey has woven threads of enlightenment, community service, and educational empowerment.
Since his arrival on June 4, 2006, he has not only embraced the essence of his guru, Pujya Swami Chinmayananda, but has also revitalised scriptural teachings and nourished thousands daily.
The Chinmaya Mission is a global spiritual organisation founded by Pujya Swami Chinmayananda in India in 1953.
The mission is dedicated to the study of Advaita Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Upanishads and operate over 350 centers worldwide to promote spiritual growth, value education, and community service.
