PITSO MOSIMANE FORMER Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has wished the national team well ahead of their must win final Group A match at the 2026 Fifa World Cup in Monterrey.
Pitso Mosimane, who is heavily linked to succeed Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos, has wished the team well ahead of their must-win Group A clash against South Korea on Thursday morning (3am).
Bafana Bafana faces the Koreans needing a win if they are to qualify for the Fifa World Cup knockout stage for the first time ever. They are currently bottom of the group with one point after one loss and one draw.
Progression to the next round of the competition would add a feather in the cap of outgoing coach Broos, who said he wants to achieve what has never been done by the team in his last year as leader of the national side.
The odds might be stacked against Broos and his charges given the superior depth of South Korea. However, the man heavily linked with succeeding him took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to wish him and the team well.
