Vincent Tseka's controversial era as Bafana Bafana team manager reportedly came into an end recently.

While uncertainty clouds the future of Hugo Broos – following his recent announcement that he would step down, contrasted by his employer's assertion that he remains under contract – the hunt for the Belgian’s successor is reportedly already underway.

Pitso Mosimane is touted as the frontrunner to succeed Broos after raising his hand to lead the national team into a new era. This appointment would mark his second spell at the helm of Bafana Bafana following a disappointing two-year stint earlier in his career.

Mosimane, or whoever ultimately succeeds Broos, is widely expected to bring in his own backroom staff to ensure shared values, trust, and camaraderie within the technical team going forward.

Despite these impending changes, Helman Mkhalele has been heavily backed to remain as an assistant coach to ensure a smooth transition and maintain continuity from the foundation Broos laid during his five-year tenure.
