The warning covers Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Dorset, with potential disruption to driving conditions, alongside a small chance buildings and temporary structures could be damaged by strong winds. There is also a small chance of flooding in a few spots. Scattered showers and thunderstorms were expected to move towards south-east England on Thursday evening and night, with the storms potentially producing gusty winds of 50-60mph.
