Makhadzi recently visited the DRC for the first time and was mobbed by fans who ultimately destroyed the Uber she was in.
South African award-winning singer Makhadzi was caught completely off guard during her recent trip to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) when eagle-eyed fans spotted her sitting inside an Uber.
The adoring crowd quickly swarmed the vehicle in a desperate bid to get a glimpse of the "MaGear" hitmaker. In the chaotic excitement, the crowd accidentally ripped the bumper and the side mirror right off the vehicle.
Makhadzi took to social media to share a video of the mob-like situation, ensuring her fanbase that she was perfectly safe and was simply a victim of pure, overwhelming love from her Congolese supporters.
In the video, the grounded star could be seen helping the driver load his detached bumper into the back of the car while apologising profusely for the damage.
